Description of class
We practise breathing and relaxation techniques combined with the gentle movement of yoga postures. The classes are gentle and are designed for relaxation, de – stressing and gentle stretching. It is not a strong physical workout and is very suitable for beginners or for those who do not want a strong class. These classes will help to maintain and improve your flexibility, generate a sense of calm and help to restore your energy levels.
Try out a class
If you have never attended a class before you are very welcome to come along and try out a class.
If you like it, pay for the term. Otherwise just pay £8 for the one lesson.
Joining mid term
If there are spaces it is perfectly possible to join mid term as the class is quite easy to pick up. Just multiply the number of weeks remaining by £8.
We practise in the dedicated yoga/pilates studio at BAYoga in the centre of Berkhamsted.
Designed specifically for yoga and pilates this new studio has high ceilings and plenty of natural light, a wooden floor and its own heating. Perfect for getting away from the daily routine, switching off and practising yoga.
To get to BAYoga go along Berkhamsted High Street towards Hemel Hempstead. Go through the main traffic lights in the centre of Berkhamsted with the Library on your right and the florist on your left. Shortly after the lights Costa Coffee will be on your left. Turn left down the one way street between Costa Coffee and Tesco and you will be able to park. BAYoga is above Costa Coffee. Entry is through the door to the left of Costa Coffee. The get to the studio go up the stairs to the first floor where you will find reception and the entrance to the studio.
