My gentle and therapeutic yoga classes incorporate breathing and relaxation techniques with the gentle movement of yoga postures. Therefore, relaxation, de–stressing and gentle stretching are outcomes you can expect.
This is not a strong physical workout. All classes are suitable for beginners, those who do not want a strenuous class and for postnatal mothers.
My classes are in Berkhamsted, Northchurch, Stoke Mandeville and Fairford Leys. Therefore, they are suitable for those coming from Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard and other nearby towns.
I provide mats, blocks, bolsters and blankets but I do suggest that you bring an extra blanket for use during relaxation. You are very welcome to bring your own equipment if you would prefer.
Wear loose comfortable clothing so that you can stretch easily. For example, trousers with an elasticated waist, a tee shirt and a sweat shirt would be a suitable choice.
It is advisable not to eat a heavy meal within 2 hours of the start of your class. It is also advisable not to eat a light meal within one hour.
