Description of class
We practise breathing and relaxation techniques combined with the gentle movement of yoga postures. The classes are gentle and are designed for relaxation, de – stressing and gentle stretching. It is not a strong physical workout and is very suitable for beginners or for those who do not want a strenous class. These classes will help to maintain and improve your flexibility, generate a sense of calm and help to restore your energy levels.
Try out a class
If you have never attended a class before you are very welcome to come along and try out a class.
If you like it pay for the term. Otherwise then just pay £9 for the one lesson. Please call or email me to let me know when you would like to try the class.
Joining mid term
If there are spaces it is perfectly possible to join mid term as the class is quite easy to pick up. Just multiply the number of weeks remaining by £9.
We practise in the dedicated yoga/pilates studio at the Vyne – Berkhamsted Arts Centre.
Designed specifically for yoga and pilates this state of the art studio has a wooden floor, its own
heating, and is painted in soothing pastel shades. Perfect for getting away from the daily routine, switching off and practising yoga.
To get to the Vyne – Berkhamsted Arts Centre go along Berkhamsted High Street towards Tring. You will eventually come to some traffic lights with the Majestic Wine Warehouse on the right and the sports centre on your left. Turn right at these lights into Billet Lane. Take the first left into Northbridge Road. The Vyne – Berkhamsted Arts Centre is half way along the road on the right, shortly after the Pottery Project. It is behind the Mailstream building in Cameron House and on the other side of the road is the Groovy Styles building. The entrance to the Vyne – Berkhamsted Arts Centre can be seen from the road and is to the left of the Mailstream building. For your first visit it is best to park in Northbridge Road.
